Attention Fort Leavenworth!! We have EXCITING news.......we were chosen to receive FREE Christmas Trees from Trees for Troops!
For 19 years, FedEx and the Christmas SPIRIT Foundation have worked together in bringing the true spirit of Christmas to U.S. troops through the Trees for Troops® program. FedEx lends it superior operations network to help military families get ready for the special moments the holiday season brings by delivering approximately 15,000 real Christmas trees. The generosity of tree farmers and garden centers across North America means real Christmas trees will be donated and provided to 84 military bases this year during the busy weeks leading up to Christmas, and Fort Leavenworth is one of them!
Trees are for ALL Fort Leavenworth Families (while supplies last), you must show your DoD ID card at pick-up.
Trees will be available for pick-up on December 11th from 7AM - 3PM at Merritt Lake.
Trees are first come, first serve so get there early.
Volunteers will bring the tree out for you, but please bring your own materials to secure your tree, we will not have any onsite.
